"Planning" Status

The scheduler can use two types of planning lines for each resource:

• An actual line representing the effective schedule of the resource.
• A "to schedule" line, representing a work space in which jobs can be held pending planning. Jobs from data import from management software (CAPM/ERP) will be automatically positioned in this space pending validation by the scheduler.

Planning help

When the Planning Help Mode is enabled, the scheduler is sure that the mandatory time constraints for jobs (earliest start time) and the route constraints (links between tasks) are automatically observed.

Therefore planning help assists the scheduler when manually scheduling by making it possible to quickly modify the schedule while maintaining all constraints integrally.

The scheduler can go even further with the scheduling module, which makes different optimized planning possibilities available.

Adjust Left Mode

The Adjust Left Mode mode can be enabled at the same time as the Planning Help mode. This mode automatically moves the jobs of each resource as far to the left as possible. Very useful to maintain compact schedule.
