Display Modes

Numerous tools are available in Direct Planning to highlight information.

Display Modes

The same planning can be viewed with different configurable display modes. In this manner, you define different "views" of the schedule.

  • Detailed view for the planning manager: Jobs are detailed with 4 lines of text. The zoom level enables a view over two days.
  • Global workload view for the production manager: Jobs are detailed with 2 lines of text. The zoom level enables viewing of two months of production. Markers are not displayed.
  • View per customer and per order for the sales assistant: The planning is "projected" per customer and per order, and not per section and machine. Like this, the sales assistant can isolate a manufacturing order in its context, and thus better answer a customer with regard to order progress.

Colour your jobs

A colour can be associated with each resource, entity and technical element.

This then makes it possible to color the jobs of the schedule depending on the type of data.

Example: color jobs for a customer, section, box profile, etc...

As each job consists of several text banners, each banner can even be specifically colored according to specific rules.

Highlighting the jobs

Direct Planning offers a mode making it possible to color and scan all jobs incorporating data common with the last job clicked. Example: same customer, same order, etc... Jobs not corresponding to this criterion are gray.

In this mode, there is a refocusing function that automatically adjusts the zoom level of the timescale so that all jobs concerned by this highlighting are integrally viewable on the screen.

Sub-diagrams

A sub-diagram is a planning where only selected jobs are displayed. This is practical to display the results of a search operation or a given manufacturing order, isolating the relevant information in its context.
